Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology, and a minimum of two to four years of experience in Cloud network and infrastructure automation. Strong fundamentals knowledge of AWS and Azure network services and components are required, along with experience with Linux operating systems and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Python. Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm charts, Rest API Python frameworks, CI/CD practices, and Bitbucket is also necessary. Experience with Cloud security and DevSecOps practices is essential, as is experience in observability practices and toolchains including monitoring, metrics, logging, alerts, and tracing.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Network Engineer II will create and enhance terraform code for Cloud AWS and Azure Network Infrastructure across multiple regions and accounts, and manage compute resources in VM and Kubernetes environments for monitoring and observability. They will build network automation scripts for Firewall and router configuration, Monitoring and Alerts, and provide technical training and documentation for network automation. The role involves identifying gaps and pain points within the network team and proposing solutions through automation, ensuring ease of use and maintainability. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for learning new technologies and integrations for network automation.
