Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of experience running highly-available, public-facing infrastructure, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and a strong bias for automation, scale, and segmentation. A strong grasp of security risk and a track record of designing effective protections are required, along with working knowledge of crypto infrastructure and proof-of-stake protocols. Experience with Go, TypeScript, Rust, Terraform, Ansible, Containers, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP, AWS, and networks like Bittensor, Berachain, or Cosmos/CometBFT-based chains is beneficial.
The Cryptocurrency Infrastructure Engineer will lead the end-to-end launch of bleeding-edge crypto networks, designing secure patterns, templates, and tools that scale from first commit to mainnet. They will build systems with security as a priority, shipping automation and tools for resilient participation across networks. The role involves solving novel, high-impact problems, creating solutions for the crypto space, and collaborating with a tight-knit team to eliminate single points of failure. Additionally, the engineer will identify and integrate new protocols and use cases in the rapidly evolving crypto landscape.
