Role Overview

This role is within our Infrastructure Engineering team, focusing on the intersection of crypto networks, infrastructure, and security. You will be instrumental in launching next-generation protocols, strengthening our systems against threats, and developing innovative tools to advance the entire ecosystem. This is a hands-on, high-impact position focused on building clean, scalable systems with smart peers, shaping the future of secure crypto infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Launch New Networks: Own the end-to-end launch of cutting-edge crypto networks, designing secure patterns, templates, and scalable tools from initial development to mainnet deployment.
• Secure by Design: Build systems with security as a primary focus, shipping security automation and tools to ensure resilient participation across networks.
• Invent as You Go: Solve novel, high-impact problems in the rapidly evolving crypto space and create solutions that benefit the broader industry.
• Build with Others: Collaborate closely with a tight-knit team of engineers to eliminate single points of failure, whether technical, operational, or human.
• Explore What’s Next: Identify and integrate new protocols and use cases to keep Unit 410 at the leading edge of the crypto industry.

Requirements

• Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience running highly-available, public-facing infrastructure.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure with a strong bias for automation, scale, and segmentation.
• Security: Strong grasp of security risks and a proven track record of designing effective protections.
• Crypto Knowledge: Working knowledge of crypto infrastructure and proof-of-stake protocols.
