Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and demonstrate experience with implementing security services provided by Amazon AWS, including Identity Management, Secure Tokens, Cloud Watch, and Cloud Monitoring. They should also have demonstrated experience with security constraints and required protections for enclave accreditation in an AWS cloud, as well as experience making virtual machine configuration changes to resolve trouble tickets and comply with security requirements. Candidates must have demonstrated experience setting up and maintaining an AWS-cloud based VPC, deploying and maintaining Windows environments in AWS, managing MS Product Suite, MS SQL, MS Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, deploying and managing log aggregation systems such as Splunk, and maintaining system accreditation. An AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - Professional certification is required, and an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Engineer will support the design and build of a new secure cloud-based enclave, perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tasks, evolve and enhance the cloud architecture after the build out and migration, continuously identify and mitigate system and data risks, and achieve and maintain Assessment & Authorization (A&A) compliance. They will also assist in migrating off of legacy on-premises infrastructure.
