Requirements

Proficiency in Python, GoLang/Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript for developing, testing, and maintaining cloud-native RESTful APIs
Experience building and managing Docker container images with best practices for security, cost efficiency, and deployments
Ability to author, maintain, and version HELM charts for Kubernetes/OpenShift, including configuration, templates, upgrades, and rollback
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment, testing, monitoring, and rollback of SaaS services
Expertise in monitoring performance, reliability, and scaling of services, including caching, concurrency, resource limits, and horizontal auto-scaling
Experience developing serverless SaaS components using AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS/Fargate
Familiarity with Kubernetes features for high availability and fault tolerance (readiness/liveness probes, resource requests/limits, namespace/networking isolation)
Skills in managing in-cluster dependencies like PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, and ElasticSearch using Helm or Operators
Ability to collaborate with security, operations, and infrastructure teams on compliance, logging, monitoring, and auditing
Capability to troubleshoot, debug production/staging issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose fixes
Commitment to accurate daily/weekly time tracking, maximizing billable hours, and full utilization of project management tools
Adherence to privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, handling confidential information appropriately

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native RESTful APIs using Python, GoLang/Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Build and manage Docker container images, ensuring best practices for image build, security, cost efficiency, and deployments
Author, maintain, and version HELM charts for deploying services into Kubernetes/OpenShift, including configuration/annotation values, templates, upgrades, and rollback support
Participate in (or build) CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and rollback of SaaS services
Monitor performance, reliability, and scaling behavior of services; identify bottlenecks and implement solutions (caching, concurrency, resource limits, horizontal auto-scaling)
Develop and maintain serverless SaaS components using AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS/Fargate
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance through Kubernetes features such as readiness and liveness probes, sensible resource requests/limits, and proper namespace/networking isolation
Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, versioning, and documentation publishing
Manage in-cluster dependencies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, and ElasticSearch using Helm or Operators
Collaborate with security, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure deployments meet security, compliance, logging, monitoring, and auditing requirements
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and staging environments; provide root cause analysis and propose corrective measures
Maintain clear documentation of architecture, deployment procedures, configuration, and usage of cloud tools
Accurately report all working hours in the Time Tracking System daily or weekly, ensuring majority (if not all) hours are tracked as billable and fully utilizing the project management tool
