Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in substance use disorders

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies and external partners
  • Participate in selecting off-site resources for services not provided by the program and keep other agencies informed about available organizational services
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly record reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards; monitor and follow up on deficiencies
  • Facilitate weekly clinical case staffing, team meetings, and diagnostic disposition meetings; implement recommendations from committees and client feedback to maintain service quality
  • Maintain required client contact hours, including intakes, individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Review and complete written reports to referral sources in a timely manner
  • Integrate clinical, community support, and physical healthcare services while leading the team
  • Provide oversight for service delivery by monitoring team member direct service hours and ensuring clinical appropriateness, frequency, and intensity of services
  • Monitor progress notes for accuracy and completeness; maintain necessary documentation
  • Develop evolving program schedules that meet client needs while respecting client rights
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external agencies to provide comprehensive care to clients and families
  • Monitor program budgets, review service delivery plans, and assist in quarterly fiscal projections
  • Provide uninterrupted coverage in accordance with licensing standards by managing staff schedules and approving time off requests
  • Complete team member evaluations, provide clinical supervision, identify performance strengths and weaknesses, and conduct corrective coaching as needed
  • Ensure staff orientation, in-service training, and continuing education requirements are met
  • Monitor policy and procedure implementation and recommend improvements as needed
  • Respond to crisis situations and ensure incident reporting compliance
  • Develop and implement quality measurement systems to promote continuous improvement
  • Oversee environmental conditions, including safety, cleanliness, vehicles, and food coordination
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director, Vice President, or Executive Team members
