Responsibilities

  • Provide direct cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services to patients
  • Document mental health services according to regulations and payer expectations
  • Meet with families and participate in education through support and treatment update sessions
  • Provide consultations and case evaluations as requested
  • Supervise and promote professional development of clinical staff, documenting supervision per requirements
  • Orient and supervise clinical staff toward clinical independence
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Train clinical staff in leading treatment team meetings, covering assessment, treatment, and discharge planning
  • Maintain consistent service delivery by observing processes and monitoring fidelity of care
  • Develop and maintain standardized clinical program materials
  • Conduct formal training in areas of expertise relevant to clinical care
  • Conduct community seminars, lectures, and marketing activities for business development
  • Offer ongoing training, support, and coaching to staff
  • Promote outcome-based assessment and utilization of proven outcomes
  • Utilize and encourage patient outcome measures to drive care recommendations
  • Monitor and share program outcomes to ensure clinical programming health
  • Develop and monitor clinical leadership standards using metrics and outcomes
  • Assess and maintain quality of documented interventions and patient care plans
  • Assure completeness of treatment plans, hierarchies, psychosocial information, and medical records
  • Conduct periodic audits of medical records
  • Promote team atmosphere through respect, honesty, direct communication, and active listening
  • Support change and be open to others' ideas
