  • Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in West Texas (and Region as needed)
  • Expertise as technical procedure and product expert, with heavy focus on Vessel Closure portfolio (small and large bore arterial, venous, and future products)
  • Ability to serve Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff
  • Skills in case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through
  • Capability to meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, hospital staff) to identify needs and demonstrate products
  • Experience developing relationships with hospital personnel and identifying key decision makers
  • Proficiency in providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
  • Ability to educate customers via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, manuals)
  • Attendance at clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room
  • Responsiveness to customer needs and complaints with creative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers in hospital settings
  • Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve projected sales goals, increase sales revenues, and market share
  • Serve as primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education
  • Focus on case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through in designated territory and Region
  • Meet with customers to identify clinical needs, goals, constraints, and demonstrate how products meet them
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel and make new contacts in departments
  • Educate customers on product merits, proper clinical usage, latest developments, and industry updates
  • Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with sales and related personnel
