Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nursing, Allied Health, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In-depth knowledge of neuro and vascular anatomy, stroke/DVT/PE/ALI/AVF pathology, and thrombectomy devices is preferred. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, Radiologic Technologist, or similar role in a relevant clinical specialty is desired.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Specialist will provide on-site support and guidance during mechanical thrombectomy, embolization, and stenting procedures in Western Australia, collaborating closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. They will conduct training sessions and educational programs for healthcare professionals on mechanical thrombectomy techniques, and work closely with hospital staff to optimize procedural workflows and protocols. The Clinical Specialist will serve as a technical expert on mechanical thrombectomy devices and equipment, providing troubleshooting assistance and facilitating equipment maintenance. They will also collect and analyze procedural data, outcomes, and patient metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for quality improvement initiatives, and maintain accurate records of sales expenses and customer files.
