Clinical Programs Pharmacist Lead

Position Overview

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Clinical Programs Pharmacist Lead will be a part of a collaborative Pharmacy Stars Medication Adherence team, accountable for Humana’s Stars medication adherence measure performance. This role autonomously develops, implements, and manages clinical program strategies to improve member adherence to diabetes, cholesterol, and hypertension medications for Medicare members. The Clinical Pharmacist Lead exercises independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, works under minimal supervision, and analyzes variable factors to determine the best course of action. Pay Range

$126,300 - $173,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacy licensure
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in managed care or a pharmacy-related field, or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project work environment while ensuring attention to detail
  • Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in quality measure performance
  • Previous experience in clinical program development and leadership
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency
  • 2+ years in project management or leadership experience
