Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in climbing trees and performing tree care services, including pruning and take downs
  • Familiarity with tree species, growth patterns, and general tree health (plus)
  • Experience using chainsaws, ropes, harnesses, and other tree climbing equipment
  • Knowledge of proper climbing techniques and safety procedures
  • Ability to operate ground-based equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working at heights and in challenging outdoor conditions
  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and bending for extended periods
  • Aerial Lift Operation and CDL license (strong plus but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce company safety protocols
  • Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning and take downs
  • Assist in the removal of trees when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the process
  • Assist in general tree care duties, such as mulching, stump grinding, and site cleanup
  • Operate ground-based equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders, when required
  • Support the Crew Leader in daily operations and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Communicate job progress, timelines, and any issues to the Crew Leader to ensure customer expectations are met
