Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ of related insurance experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage large spreadsheets of data
  • Ability to analyze complex risk exposures, existing insurance coverages, and develop appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects
  • Ability to forge relationships with key insurance markets and carrier representatives
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activities of client accounts, including policy review, changes, and updates; contract reviews; preparing renewal documents; marketing and negotiating insurance programs; financial statements related to the client’s insurance
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate carrier relationships
  • Manage client files in AMS accurately and consistently, ensuring proper documentation and communication
  • Manage client inquiries and work with insurance partners and/or internal teams to resolve client issues
  • Know the requirements and attributes of all insurance company partners while maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company and their resources
  • Coordinate service delivery for accounts as assigned, developing initial placement/renewal strategy
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Bring issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership
  • Serve as a mentor to colleagues as requested
