Position Overview

The Client Development Executive will maintain client satisfaction and expand employer services within an assigned Vertical specific account territory for Experian's Employer Services. You will drive sales and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate client-facing sales efforts to understand client needs within a Vertical specific territory.
  • Consult with clients to construct solutions to meet those needs and close deals.
  • Demonstrate detailed business knowledge in Employer Services (Verifications, Unemployment Cost Management, Tax Credits, or other HR Compliance) sales or related industries.
  • Master understanding and promote the value proposition of all Experian Employer Services products to solve complex customer compliance and risk mitigation needs.
  • Grow book of business through product cross-sell/upsell and solution options expansion.
  • Facilitate and negotiate contract renewals and RFPs through the complete sales cycle.
  • Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with client executives to best position Experian Employer Services value.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with clients and develop an understanding of client environments and processes to identify existing and potential applications for Experian products and services.
  • Partner with all appropriate Experian Employer Services departments throughout the sales cycle.
  • Report to the Sr. Director Client Development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of strategic, enterprise-level sales experience.
  • Experience in consultative sales and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing senior-level client relationships.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex situations, work strategically, and effectively solve problems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to travel.
