Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a Master’s degree
  • Proven experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a managerial or senior engineering role with responsibilities in contamination control and/or ESD management
  • Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or medical device industries (significant advantage)
  • Deep knowledge of cleanroom standards (ISO 14644, GMP) and ESD standards (ANSI/ESD S20.20, IEC 61340-5-1)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and implement contamination control strategies and ESD prevention programs
  • Manage all cleanroom and ESD operations within the region to ensure compliance with regulatory and international standards
  • Oversee cleanroom operations, including developing and maintaining cleaning protocols, monitoring environmental parameters, and managing cleanroom validation and certification
  • Establish, implement, and audit ESD control programs; perform facility audits; manage selection and testing of ESD-safe equipment; investigate and resolve ESD-related issues
  • Create and maintain SOPs; develop and deliver specialized training to engineers and technicians; ensure audit-readiness of processes and support compliance reports
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cleanroom efficiency and ESD protection
  • Troubleshoot and resolve contamination or ESD events
  • Stay updated on industry standards, technologies, and best practices
