Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, particularly in transportation and roadway projects. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, along with strong knowledge of transportation planning and design standards, is essential. Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and excellent communication skills are also required.
The Civil Project Manager will lead and manage transportation and roadway projects from conception through completion, developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets. They will oversee the preparation and review of engineering plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations are key duties. The manager will implement quality control processes, conduct site visits, identify project risks, monitor budgets, and prepare regular project reports for clients and senior management.
