Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in site design
  • Familiarity with municipal zoning and land use ordinances
  • Familiarity with state, county, and municipal ordinances and standards related to grading, drainage, street improvements, subdivision, and land regulations
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certification - Licensed in Wyoming or willing to obtain licensure

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design of various projects, including parking lots, access roads, local roads, new subdivisions, and grading around buildings
  • Design land development projects from concept/study phases through construction
  • Prepare project specifications, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Client interaction and interdisciplinary communication
  • Proposal preparation and fee estimating
