Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of the accounting figures and the accounting processes
  • Manage month-end closing process
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Coordination with offshore branch Finance teams
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records
  • Provide support during audits and regulatory reviews
  • Lead a team responsible for monitoring the accounting processes of the offshore branches of Banco Santander
  • Identify enhancements, define action plans, and oversee the resolution of incidences at a global level
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and clients in a dynamic environment, combining accounting tasks with continuous process reengineering and tools improvement
