Requirements

  • Experience in distribution accounting, sales accounting, and revenue recognition
  • Knowledge of compliance, accuracy in revenue recognition, and liability accrual
  • Expertise in finance support operations including customer billing, payment collection, and customer reconciliation
  • Ability to review business proposals and provide accounting instructions for control and compliance
  • Understanding of RTM execution and Order to Cash integration from an accounting perspective
  • Skills in distribution inventory management, FG inventory valuation, physical counts, and issue resolution
  • Capability to coordinate with supply chain and sales/marketing on inventory management, process improvements, slow-moving inventory, and risk mitigation
  • Experience in internal control, SOX compliance, quarterly letter of representation, and SOX certification
  • Proficiency in driving business process changes, control implementation, 302 assessments, RACM reviews, issue tracking, and audit support
  • Team management skills including monitoring performance, coaching, development, succession planning, and fostering team engagement
  • Ability to lead ad hoc regional/global tasks, new policy implementation, and process/system efficiency improvements

Responsibilities

  • Manage Distribution accounting - Sales accounting & revenue recognition
  • Ensure compliance & accuracy of revenue recognition & liability accrual
  • Provide proper operation finance support, e.g., customer billing, payment collection, customer reconciliation
  • Review business proposals and provide accounting instructions, ensure proper control & accounting compliance for new business initiatives
  • Guide RTM execution & Cooper Order to Cash integration from accounting perspective
  • Manage Distribution accounting - Distribution inventory management (FG)
  • Ensure proper FG inventory valuation for financial accounting & reporting
  • Execute FG physical count and drive closure of identified issues
  • Coordinate with supply chain for SP warehouse & consignment inventory management and continuously drive process/system improvement
  • Coordinate with sales/marketing to drive business actions of slow-moving & DS tires and mitigate operational and financial risk
  • Support China controller to manage the quarterly letter of representation and SOX certification processes
  • Drive business process change and control implementation to ensure proper issue closure
  • Ensure proper delivery of routine SOX & internal control tasks (quarterly 302 assessment, Annual RACM review, issue tracking & closure)
  • Support internal & external audit requirements
  • Monitor & guide GBS team performance
  • Coach & develop team members and grow team talents
  • Ensure proper team succession plan
  • Drive overall engaging & growing team environment
  • Lead ad hoc regional & global tasks & initiatives
  • Lead new policy implementation
  • Continuously identify opportunities for accounting/controlling efficiency improvement and implement process/system change accordingly
