Requirements

  • 7+ years work experience OR bachelor degree
  • Leadership experience
  • Chemical Manufacturing and/or Chemical Handling experience
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye
  • Occasional travel (no more than 5%)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct manufacturing technicians
  • Monitor the quality of work
  • Ensure employees receive proper training
  • Address maintenance issues
  • Oversee and lead daily Plant operations including process and procedure improvement activities
  • Responsible for the performance of assigned work cells
  • Provide guidance and direction to the Manufacturing team of assigned work cells
  • Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures
  • Coordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments to production personnel
  • Monitor and enforce safety policies
  • Ensure all assigned work cells are producing product to the company’s quality standards
