Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in similar technical pre-sales roles, ideally within UCaaS/CCaaS environments
  • Demonstrated experience with SaaS collaboration tools, including web conferencing, cloud voice, and unified communications
  • Solid understanding of traditional voice communications systems, networking protocols, and security best practices
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience working within the channel landscape and supporting partner-driven engagements
  • Native Japanese skill/Business Level English skill with a TOEIC score of 700+ highly considered
  • Build good rapport with customers through business acumen, technical expertise, and executive presence
  • Strong understanding of the UCaaS industry and solid knowledge of the CCaaS space

Responsibilities

  • Leading strategic sales engagements and provide expert technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Building trusted relationships across the customer and channel ecosystem while enabling partners to adopt and manage Zoom’s UCaaS and CCaaS platforms
  • Acting as a subject-matter expert on UCaaS/CCaaS technologies, industry trends, and competitive positioning
  • Collaborating with global teams to drive product innovation, enhancements, and customer-focused solutions
  • Designing and delivering next-generation communication solutions, including demos, proofs of concept, and deal-support activities
  • Contributing to sales strategy, marketing initiatives, and product development through market intelligence and customer insights
  • Architecting, designing, and demonstrating tailored solutions that address unique business challenges and objectives
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success—to ensure seamless solution delivery and business outcomes
  • Clearly articulating Zoom’s solutions and architectural advantages to support Channel Account Managers (CAMs) in helping customers overcome complex collaboration challenges
