Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant healthcare industry experience (medical devices/consumables distributor management or direct sales experience preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or above (medicine or engineering background preferred)
  • Proven track-record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience understanding customer needs and business drivers to develop account plans and strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork and communication skills
  • Persistence in developing prospects and customers, and ability to close business
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Self-starter, able to manage time, organize, and prioritize workload
  • Ability to communicate using English and local language (read professional materials in English and write)
  • Proficiency in computer operation
  • High integrity, professionalism, and compliance with company regulations
  • Strong market development, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and self-learning willingness/capability

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales plan for assigned channel/distributor to achieve and exceed sales turnover and financial return cost-effectively
  • Target new business accounts and opportunities as well as existing customers
  • Actively manage relationships with assigned distributors to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Provide distributors/channels with necessary support and information to facilitate their effectiveness
  • Maintain high level of technical and commercial competency on relevant products, techniques, and applications
  • Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory using sales tools
  • Prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts to ensure constant information flow
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activities and developments, and report to leadership
  • Achieve sales targets set by the company in the specified region
  • Execute company's market strategies and sales policies
  • Provide product support to distributors and assist them in achieving sales targets
  • Develop, establish, and maintain good distribution channels in the region
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to improve satisfaction
  • Use sales tools to collect/analyze regional market situations, identify opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts
  • Conduct and organize market promotion and sales activities in the responsible region
  • Identify and track government procurement project opportunities
