Experience with multiple systems and platforms is required, along with the ability to engage with members and fulfill scheduled visits on time. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, comfort with change, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
The Enrollment Certified Medical Assistant will conduct scheduled member phone calls as part of the intake and enrollment process, preparing charts, scheduling appointments, and performing intake tasks like medication reconciliation and verifying PCP and pharmacy information. They will capture, enter, and confirm health profile information, maintain accurate member health data in compliance with HIPAA, and outreach to potential members to collect initial assessment data for program eligibility. Additionally, they will explain program benefits, assist with medication requests, tasking actions, lab reminders, scheduling, prior authorizations, and other non-clinical triaging.
