Requirements

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), have a clean driving record, be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and be able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly. Applicants must also submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and have a consistent work history of at least two years.

Responsibilities

The CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to assigned customer locations following a route schedule. They will build relationships with customers, understand their operations, and meet their needs and expectations, while also manually unloading products. The driver will also be responsible for overtime work as needed, including weekends and holidays, and participate in ongoing job skills and leadership development training.
