Requirements

Candidates should possess a university degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in procurement, contract management, vendor relations, or a similar function. A solid understanding of the software vendor landscape and procurement processes is required, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in data tools like Excel is necessary, and experience with Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with procurement best practices is expected, and experience in enterprise software sourcing is highly desirable. Experience with Telco is also considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Category Specialist will contribute to the development and execution of end-to-end category strategies for enterprise software. Responsibilities include performing data-driven analysis to support strategic sourcing decisions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and deliver value-driven solutions, and identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality and compliance. The role also involves supporting the preparation of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, participating in vendor negotiations, assisting in the implementation of sourcing strategies and vendor management practices, and conducting supplier market research and prequalification assessments.
