Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, with an MBA or CPM/CPSM being preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, ideally within Facilities Management categories and with exposure to the Property Management Industry, is required. Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills, proficiency in procurement systems and tools, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities are also essential.
The Category Manager will develop and execute category strategies for Facilities Management services and supplies, including leading RFPs, RFIs, and contract negotiations. They will analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier relationships through performance reviews and compliance monitoring, and collaborate with property operations teams to understand needs and ensure supplier performance. This role also involves ensuring alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards.
