Requirements

  • At least 9 years’ experience in procurement or category management, including project leadership in the IT industry and Technology categories
  • Comfortable working in a matrix type organization
  • Stakeholder and team members (on-shore & near-shore) management skills
  • Analytical, presentation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Relationship management skills and a proactive customer-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of the global/regional Technology category strategy at the country/market unit level, leading and developing local category Procurement Plus Technology team and initiatives
  • Implement global and regional sourcing strategies within the local market, driving cost savings, service excellence, and compliance and support local business planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making
  • Support pipeline planning and forecasting of sourcing activities
  • Implement supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure effective contract implementation and usage of preferred buying channels
  • Design RFPs and conduct competitive sourcing processes
