Requirements

  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory reporting requirements
  • Understanding of EU wide and global regulatory capital directives and requirements
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent project management / facilitation skills
  • Good understanding of the risk and control environment
  • Understanding of the ‘Senior Managers and Certification Regime’ (SM&CR)
  • Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities, and work effectively on multiple initiatives
  • Strong capital management experience
  • Experience in Asset Management or the Financial Services Sector
  • Based in London (contractual location)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Capital Reporting Manager and Senior Finance Manager in delivering high quality capital and liquidity reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal management information (MI) to enable informed decisions around capital and liquidity
  • Contribute to the management of the global capital and liquidity position of Aviva Investors to ensure no regulatory breaches occur
  • Support the Capital Team with new capital transactions, including capital injections, loans, capital reductions, and dividends
  • Prepare quarterly capital metrics such as Return on Capital, Operating Capital Generation, and Solvency Ratios
  • Conduct financial risk assessments to support the Internal Capital and Risk Assessment (ICARA) process
