Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data migration and ETL. They must be proficient in SQL (MySQL, SQL Server), ETL tools (ADF, SSIS), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), along with the ability to troubleshoot migration issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
The Intermediate Database Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and assessing data structures in source and target systems to develop migration strategies, migrating data from legacy systems to new platforms ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency, handling multiple data migration projects in parallel, managing priorities and troubleshooting issues efficiently, developing, testing, and optimizing scripts and processes to enhance migration performance, writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation, identifying data quality issues, performing data cleansing, and applying necessary information, collaborating with stakeholders to define data mapping, business rules, and validation checks, monitoring and troubleshooting migration processes, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer, automating repetitive data migration tasks, documenting data migration processes, transformation rules, and troubleshooting steps, and ensuring compliance with data security, data governance, and regulatory standards. Availability to provide data migration support during off-business hours and on weekends is also required.
