  • Extensive Experience in Analytical Thinking (breaks down complex problems into components, quantifies risks and benefits before recommending actions)
  • Expert in Relationship Management (coaches others on client partnering strategies, collaborates with clients to align on business goals)
  • Extensive Experience in IT Environment (advises on strategic systems and technology planning, evaluates benefits and drawbacks of current IT structures)
  • Working Knowledge in IT Standards, Procedures & Policies (designs IT infrastructure aligned with business analysis, executes IT projects based on established procedures)
  • Working Knowledge in System & Technology Integration (supports integration and migration initiatives, works across platforms, applications, and data bridges)
  • Top candidates: Masters in process or supply chain related subject and/or 10+ years S&OP experience; previous experience in Caterpillar S&OP Dealer Demand and Order Planning process and tools; previous experience in Caterpillar Dealer S&OP process and tools; previous experience in Caterpillar S&OP Machine process and tools; ability to work independently, manage customer/partner interactions, and provide project direction or matrix management

Responsibilities

  • Provides process support to business partners on S&OP Dealer Demand and Order planning process
  • Coordinates with business partners from a support and development perspective to understand the needs of the business
  • Leverages the Digital Supply team to develop solutions that enable the deployment of process & technology enhancements
  • Provides guidance and solutions on comprehensive technology issues for internal and external customers
  • Ensures that the design and implementation of new technologies and solutions are compliant with existing processes
  • Manages and defines standard work and lean principles to ensure continuous process improvement
  • Ensures ongoing effectiveness and growth of Digital and AI solutions
  • Measures process and solution effectiveness and initiates improvement projects to support KPI growth
  • Oversees progress and implementation of MGPP and strategy
