Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field, preferably engineering or science degree
  • English and Catalan fluency required (other languages such as Portuguese nice to have)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing complex projects in the healthcare field, preferably within a clinical setting
  • Experience working with distributed and global virtual teams
  • Strong communication, information, and people management skills with customer and patient focus
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and tasks, understand and add priorities
  • Ability to execute plans, assess situations, information, and risks, and plan execution accordingly
  • Experience performing and implementing process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma) and measuring performance against process requirements
  • Remote role based in Barcelona (Spain) with willingness to travel if needed

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with different capabilities, business units, and other technological partners to develop new service components for patient-oriented services
  • Apply differentiated and efficient communication throughout the team and hospitals
  • Apply, support, and motivate hospital staff efficiently on the project
  • Ensure customer engagement and execution, manage expectations, and create alignment throughout planning and execution phases
  • Offer high-quality information level within the team and main stakeholders that is crisp, clear, and timely
  • Efficiently manage projects using the Medtronic Project Management Tool Planisware by establishing baseline plans, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely, customer-focused delivery
  • Enhance existing services and develop new ones to expand coverage across more diseases
  • Partner with hospital management teams to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways, and run and optimize operations
