Candidates should possess 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role utilizing data to inform decision-making, proficiency in Power BI for report and dashboard creation, hands-on experience with AWS data tools such as Redshift, Athena, and S3, and strong SQL skills for querying and data transformation. They must also demonstrate the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences and uphold ethical data practices aligned with Mozilla’s values.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will prepare high-quality, privacy-conscious datasets and visualizations from data stored in AWS, write and maintain SQL queries and data transformations to support reporting and analysis workflows, perform statistical analysis to identify patterns and anomalies, respond to ad-hoc data requests from business users, collaborate with teams to design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, support teams in building data fluency and self-service BI use, and ensure data practices align with lean data principles by documenting data sources, definitions, and logic while identifying opportunities to improve data quality and accessibility.
