Candidates should possess 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role utilizing data to inform decision-making, proficiency in Power BI for report and dashboard creation, hands-on experience with AWS data tools such as Redshift, Athena, and S3, and strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data. They should also demonstrate the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences and a commitment to ethical data practices and alignment with Mozilla’s values around privacy, openness, and equitable technology.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with data stored in AWS to prepare datasets and visualizations, write and maintain SQL queries and data transformations, perform statistical analysis to identify patterns and anomalies, respond to ad-hoc data requests from business users, collaborate with teams to design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, support teams in building data fluency and enabling self-service BI tools, ensure data practices uphold Mozilla’s lean data principles, document data sources and definitions, and identify opportunities to improve data quality, structure, and accessibility across the Foundation.
