Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of project/program management experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years)
  • Experience as a Program Manager at Medtronic or in the medical device industry in Clinical Research or Clinical/Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, Engineering, or Health Care
  • Experience managing projects in a global scope working with cross-functional teams
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/RMP certification
  • Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Green Belt Certification

Responsibilities

  • Deliver cross-functional services across Clinical, Regulatory, and adjacent teams, including Program/Project Management, Process Improvement, Strategic Facilitation, Kaizen, and MPS/Green Belt coaching
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of initiatives, providing regular updates and insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Drive process improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Analyze and optimize workflows, identifying waste and improvement opportunities through process mapping and evaluation
  • Leverage data and analytics to uncover root causes, support operational decisions, and inform strategic planning
  • Facilitate effective collaboration by organizing and leading meetings, presentations, and workshops across teams and leadership levels
  • Develop and track KPIs/metrics to measure performance and identify future opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Organize, lead, and facilitate meetings and presentations across program and project teams, including with senior leadership, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration
