Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (internships count)
  • Proven ability to cold call, build rapport, and handle objections with confidence
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities
  • A self-starter mentality — scrappy, curious, and energized by building something new

Responsibilities

  • Generate new opportunities daily: Cold call, email, and use social channels to connect with independent grocery stores, markets, and distributors
  • Build the top of the funnel: Identify high-potential prospects through territory research, LinkedIn, Google Maps, and local outreach
  • Book qualified meetings: Schedule and coordinate introductory calls and demos between grocery operators and our Territory Account Executives
  • Collaborate with your TAE: Strategize weekly on territory plans, local events, and creative outreach campaigns
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene: Track activity and engagement in HubSpot CRM to ensure data accuracy and pipeline visibility
  • Experiment and iterate: Share learnings and feedback with leadership and product teams to continuously improve outreach messaging and targeting
