Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development role within the wireless semiconductors technology sectors
  • Proven experience in competitive analysis and developing go-to-market strategies for new products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Self-driven individual with exceptional professional presence, good business acumen, and knowledge to establish immediate credibility with customers, vendors/suppliers, employees, and management team
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to travel in India, 20-30%
  • Strong understanding of low power wireless technologies (e.g., LoRa, FSK, BLE, ZigBee, 802.15.4/4g, Wi-Fi) (Desired)
  • Strong business acumen with ability to balance technical depth and market insight (Desired)

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate unique selling propositions (USPs) for wireless IC products, ensuring alignment with market demands and company goals (30%)
  • Drive opportunity funnel creation to achieve new product business plans, convert opportunities to production, and meet or exceed business unit goals (30%)
  • Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to gather voice of customer, feedback, understand pain points, and refine product offerings (20%)
  • Develop and implement effective go-to-market plans for new product launches, including pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies (10%)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, sales, product development, and LoRa ecosystem teams (including LoRa Alliance members) to ensure product alignment with market requirements and drive successful product launches (10%)
  • Define and drive competitive positioning, value propositions, and messaging for key products and platforms
  • Analyze product performance metrics (design-ins, revenue, share) and deliver forecasts and strategic insights to business leadership
  • Represent the product line at key customer meetings, industry events, and internal strategy reviews
  • Lead customer engagement efforts in collaboration with field sales, FAE, and business development teams to drive design wins and revenue
