Requirements

  • Interest in commercial functions, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and project management skills (to be developed during internship)
  • For specific areas: Passion for Disney products (Commercial, Account & Category Management); Detail-oriented and analytical with curiosity for financial and consumer data (Brand Commercialisation)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic projects across commercial functions of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC)
  • Analyze commercial data to improve business processes and commercial performance
  • Depending on assigned area:
  • Disney+ Content Acquisitions: Coordinate projects, source and review content, collaborate with Programming, Legal, Finance, and partners across EMEA
  • Viewer Experience: Collaborate with Disney Streaming team, global Customer Experience, and stakeholders on customer interactions
  • Commercial, Account & Category Management: Support sourcing, develop partners and products in Toy & Food businesses, identify trends, generate product ideas
  • Loyalty and Premiums: Manage external Premium Partners, support promotional activities, handle account management and enquiries, collaborate with internal departments
  • UK Retail Sales and Marketing: Support activation of commercial and marketing plans with UK retailers across franchises and product categories
  • E-Commerce Marketplaces: Drive growth of licensees, run campaigns and promotions, analyze sales data, review category performance, identify sales opportunities
  • Brand Commercialisation: Assist in delivering EMEA strategies for Disney/Pixar or Marvel/20th Century/Lucasfilm brands, conduct brand health analysis, partner pitching
  • Disney Destinations International Sales: Support sales and marketing for Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line in UK and Ireland
