Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle analytics, insurance billing, or claims reimbursement. A deep understanding of the claim life cycle, payer reimbursement models, and insurance billing workflows is essential.
The Business Analyst will analyze billing, claims, and payment data to identify trends in payer reimbursement, claim denials, and rejections, develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SQL and BI tools, conduct data extractions and reconciliations, partner with Finance, Insurance Billing, Market Access, and Product teams to provide insights, support payer contract compliance analysis, work closely with IT and Data Engineering, identify opportunities for process improvements in claims submission, payer compliance, and denial resolution, design and implement workflow enhancements, ensure adherence to HIPAA and regulatory requirements, and respond to ad hoc data requests from leadership and key stakeholders.
