Artera is seeking a Business Analyst, Operations to support data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and system improvements. This role will focus on business intelligence, CRM functionality, and operational efficiency to improve commercial effectiveness and overall company operations. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, billing and finance, to enhance reporting, streamline workflows, and provide actionable insights.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, increased efficiency, and strategic impact.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance metrics across teams and business functions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new business intelligence tools or platforms to enhance data access, visualization, and reporting capabilities.
  • Conduct data validation and quality control to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting.
  • Support the optimization of CRM reporting and analytics to improve data integrity, visibility, and decision-making.
  • Work with stakeholders to define data and reporting requirements, track feature requests, and support implementation where needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on reporting definitions, metrics, and data-informed workflows.
  • Document and maintain best practices, data definitions, and standard operating procedures for reporting and analytics.
  • Train internal teams on how to access and interpret dashboards, reports, and insights to promote data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicate updates on key metrics and changes to departments on a regular basis.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, reporting gaps, and misalignment of key performance indicators.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or related field.
  • 2-4 years in business analysis, data analysis, operations, or commercial analytics within biotech, healthcare, or professional services.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze commercial data, optimize workflows, and develop dashboards.
  • Analytical skills and a genuine passion for existing and new technologies and scientific advances.
  • Highly organized in planning and time management, with the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, HealthCloud, Hubspot, Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable with, and has experience with, presenting and training teams in a clear, concise manner.
  • Experience or familiarity with database queries using SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agility and the ability to respond to competing and changing priorities and multiple tasks under inflexible timelines.
  • Experience working in a startup environment preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 a year
  • In addition to base salary, equity is a core component of our compensation.
  • We also offer 401k matching, unlimited paid time off (PTO), and more.
  • The base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other factors to be discussed during the interview process.
