Business Analyst - Puerto Rico

Position Overview

Granicus is seeking a Business Analyst to implement business system solutions according to customer needs and requirements. This role is responsible for the setup, configuration, integration, and data validation of the system. The Business Analyst will conduct testing scenarios, provide end-user training, and offer customer support. A significant portion of the role involves working directly with clients on planning, training, and implementation tasks, creating logical specifications for Business Solutions implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to gather system requirements and produce detailed requirements and functional specification documents to solve moderately complex problems within information systems.
  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
  • Validate, analyze, and import initial and final data as approved by the customer.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure requirements are fully understood and provide assistance with overcoming obstacles faced during development.
  • Conduct system testing at the development site and client site to validate requirements.
  • Train end users and provide user support, ensuring the use of up-to-date user manuals during the operation phase or as requested by the supervisor.
  • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for user acceptance, ensuring quality standards.
  • Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve current operations.
  • Define system goals and devise flowcharts and diagrams describing the logical operational steps of programs.
  • Serve as project leaders for particular systems projects.
  • Document experiences in current projects to identify new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve targeting, measurements, and project success in the future.
  • Document reports design and specifications for custom reports development or modification.
  • Provide support to the development team during development and testing.
  • Contribute to project documentation by updating project binders and project sites as stated.
  • Complete project tasks within established deadlines and communicate delivery status to project team and management on a timely basis.
  • Participate in the sales cycle.
  • Function independently or as part of a larger implementation team.
  • Work with the product development team to identify potential product enhancements.
