You will support executive leadership and business leaders across all revenue-generating activities. Role Overview

As a Business Analyst on the Business Analytics team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality output and independently managing analytics projects. You will collaborate with other leaders across the enterprise to enhance our ability to deliver insights consistently, quickly, and accurately. A key aspect of this role will be establishing processes to ensure our portfolio of analytics products remains consistent and clear.

How You'll Make an Impact

By 3 Months:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of At-Bay's business, including our products, services, distribution channels, technology stack, and partner ecosystem, and how they serve our customers through insurance and security.
  • Establish strong working relationships with colleagues and understand the roles and functions of the broader analytics and business teams.
  • Develop autonomy and familiarity with our data stack and analytics tools to generate essential insights.
  • Begin performing analyses to inform and support strategic decision-making, balancing growth and profitability.

By 6 Months:

  • Cultivate working relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating to share insights and identify opportunities for significant portfolio impact.
  • Regularly partner with go-to-market, technology, insurance, security services, and other teams to enhance our products and processes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use analytics to generate insights and drive executive conversations on improving business performance.
  • Propose data-driven improvements to processes or business practices based on your analyses.
  • Establish yourself as a reliable team member, capable of handling core responsibilities independently and contributing valuable insights.

What You've Accomplished Already:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience leading multiple analytics projects from requirements definition through to final synthesis. Previous insurance experience is a plus but not required.
  • Skilled in engaging stakeholders at all levels (frontline to senior executives) for presenting findings and problem-solving.
  • Experience helping organizations translate ambiguous problem statements into concrete, actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in using SQL for data manipulation, including cleaning, transforming, and creating data.
  • Experience using Python for various analytical tasks, such as building models and running automated processes, including data cleaning.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver explainable models and analytics products utilizing an analytics tech stack (e.g., Snowflake).
