Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst role
  • 3+ years of Business Analysis experience in one or more of these areas: Products, Benefits and Plan Sponsor, Claim Adjudication, Network and Provider, Billing Member Enrollment
  • 3+ years experience in creating appropriate communication materials
  • 3+ years of experience performing analysis and translating business needs to create high quality business requirements, with documented stories and functional specifications within specified timeframes to solve complex problems
  • 3+ years of experience conducting retrospectives and demos for key stakeholders with the scrum teams
  • 3+ years of experience ensuring end-to-end traceability of requirements to completion
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
  • Technology Skill Set: Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, including Visio), RTC (Rational Teams Concert) an IBM Rationale program and/or Jira, Rally Software programs

Responsibilities

  • Work in an Agile scrum team environment, in close collaboration with business partners, Aetna technology domain team, product owners, scrum teams, architecture and other Aetna Technology DDAT - Data Digital Analytics Technology partners
  • Perform analysis, requirement gathering, grooming of stories based on business needs in support of critical integrated system releases
  • Conduct interviews, fact-finding, and independent research to design creative, progressive IT solutions for business problems
  • Ensure business value is delivered per expected outcomes and production applications remain stable with excellent performance and optimal scalability
  • Bridge the gap between Aetna Technology and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders
