Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience in a baker preparation position
Basic math and measuring skills
Good work ethic, communication, and time management skills
Post-secondary culinary program highly preferred
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including overnights, evenings, and weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting

Responsibilities

Prepares and bakes artisanal breads, focaccia, and pizzas during overnight production to ensure readiness for daily service
Mixes, ferments, proofs, and bakes doughs according to established recipes and production schedules
Assists with pizza preparation and dough mixing as needed
Maintains a clean and sanitary production area in compliance with Department of Health standards
Works towards mastering all stages of overnight bakery and pizza production
Collaborates closely with the team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and product quality across shifts
Assists Sales Associates when needed and engages with guests interested in learning about bread and pizza production
Performs other duties as required or assigned
