Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred
Knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership capabilities
Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee company budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives
Provide comprehensive financial insights to founders and investors to support informed decision-making
Supervise the outsourced accounting team and authorize all financial statements
Evaluate financial data to identify patterns and deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions
Maintain sufficient liquidity to meet financial commitments and pursue growth initiatives
Assist fundraising activities by supplying accurate financial information and forecasts
Establish and manage the organization’s financial infrastructure
Ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective support for expansion initiatives
Perform routine accounting functions alongside long-term financial planning
Remain current on financial markets and industry trends affecting corporate finances
