  • Strong Excel know-how (e.g. V-Lookup, basic formulas & Pivot Tables)
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Netsuite (preferred)

  • Results-oriented, self-starter who enjoys a challenge and gets things done
  • Interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain credibility
  • Comfortable handling customers in different situations

  • Experience in a similar position (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Telecoms billing (advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Be the ‘Face’ of the billing department
  • Handle day-to-day customer queries - taking ownership of cases assigned in Salesforce and seeing them through to resolution
  • Help improve overall billing accuracy & satisfaction
  • Track and report on revenue assurance
  • Take ownership of multi-currency customer accounts requiring manual billing using Excel and formulas to convert rates before invoicing
  • Take ownership of invoices needing manual intervention, such as tracking and adding PO requirements
  • Create and maintain process documentation for all billing processes
  • Manage contract renewals
  • Handle price changes
  • Support wider Billing and Collections teams where possible
  • Liaise with third parties, customers and internal contacts & be confident in internal & external meetings
  • Investigate recurring billing issues with a view to automate future billing
  • Cross-check orders and invoices against contracted terms to ensure billing consistency from contract signing to invoicing
  • Calculate and communicate credits to customers
  • Conduct billing analysis using multiple systems to help solve customer disputes
  • Complete other ad-hoc billing tasks and queries
