Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with six months of previous customer service experience, and preferred experience in a call center or with insurance. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, demonstrating a pleasant telephone demeanor and multitasking skills, and proficiency in PC usage with a typing speed of 3,000 KSH or 25 WPM, achieving an error ratio of less than 5%. Successful completion of all required new hire training is also necessary.
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will review policy information to determine underwriting guidelines, serve as the primary contact for insureds, agents, and lien holders, provide superior customer service by offering solutions and options within company guidelines, and periodically attend office-based training or meetings as needed.
