• The Bidding Writer Expert is responsible for identifying potential US government contract opportunities, writing and preparing compelling bid proposals, and ensuring the submission of high-quality bids. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong writing skills, and an in-depth understanding of US government procurement processes, particularly in areas such as apartment rentals and pest control services.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bid writing, proposal development, or government contracting.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of US government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and compelling proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research US government contract opportunities related to apartment rentals, pest control, and other relevant services.
• Develop and write comprehensive and persuasive bid proposals that align with the requirements of US government solicitations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
• Review and analyze bid documents, including requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and invitations to bid (ITBs).
• Ensure all bid submissions comply with US government regulations, guidelines, and deadlines.
• Maintain a database of past bid submissions, wins, and losses for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders regarding bid opportunities and progress.
• Follow up on submitted bids and coordinate with US government agencies as needed.
• Provide support and training to junior staff members in bid writing and preparation.
