Position Overview

Cielo is seeking an exceptional Bid Specialist to support proposal development. As a Bid Specialist, you will be customer-centric, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong understanding of client program or team needs within their service delivery area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of business experience, preferably in a proposal management function.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and content development.
  • Strong communication skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to take initiative and creatively solve problems.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment on multiple projects.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach, anticipating needs and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in BID Management.
  • Experience in handling MS Office.
  • Experience with development, finalization, and submission of RFIs and RFPs (required).
  • Experience providing high-touch customer service to support the Business Development team throughout the sales cycle (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Review, format, and proof PowerPoint sales presentations.
  • Conduct internet research on sales targets and prospects.
  • Provide high-touch customer service to support the Business Development team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Coordinate development, finalization, and submission of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Develop, proof, edit, format, and create proposals and presentations (PowerPoint or Word documents) used in the sales process.
  • Research, analyze, and report information related to prospective accounts, including company demographics, compelling events, press releases, and leadership/employee information.
  • Update and maintain CRM (Salesforce.com) and other sales tools such as case studies and metrics.
  • Print and bind proposal and presentation materials.
