Requirements

Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Engineering role, with strong experience in Oracle and SQL Server, including complex SQL query writing and performance tuning. A working understanding of payment processing flows, PSP integrations, and key payment metrics is required, along with familiarity with data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts. Experience handling ambiguity and converting problem statements into structured data solutions is necessary, and exposure to Python, Spark, data visualization tools, and statistical modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

The BI Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for enterprise data warehousing and analytical needs, building data models for transaction monitoring, reconciliation, chargeback tracking, and fraud analysis. They will work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models and reports, manage and optimize large-scale data systems using Oracle and SQL Server, and integrate payment data from diverse platforms. Responsibilities include identifying and troubleshooting data discrepancies, building dashboards and reports on payment performance metrics, driving automation in payment reporting, and maintaining documentation for ETL workflows and data dictionaries.
