Requirements

Candidates must reside in Richmond, Virginia, and possess one of the following licenses in Virginia: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, BCBA, LBA, or an RN with at least 5 years of behavioral health experience. They should also have at least 2 years of experience with delivery of community-based Medicaid behavioral health services, 5+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health, mental health, or psychiatric care, and 2+ years’ experience using personal computers and MS Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Clinical Liaison will clinically manage non-traditional mental health services and addiction recovery and treatment services through the utilization management process, drive collaboration on quality of care and utilization management, outreach to high utilizers to support treatment coordination and discharge planning, serve as a behavioral health subject matter expert, interface with community stakeholders, consult with Plan executive management regarding clinical issues, support care management staff, participate in interdisciplinary case rounds, and participate in process improvement initiatives within care management and broader Plan operations.
