Responsibilities

  • Develops and conducts educational programs and materials to support safe and effective patient behavioral health care
  • Applies in-depth knowledge for behavioral health training and education to healthcare professionals to ensure patient outcome improvement
  • Collaborates with clinical staff to identify and address any gaps in knowledge or skills to ensure consistent enhancement of patient care
  • Administers evaluations of clinical staff performance and the effectiveness of educational programs, offering improvements where needed
  • Mentors and coaches healthcare professionals to improve their clinical skills and knowledge to ensure continuous growth and improvement
  • Maintains accurate records of educational programs and materials, knowledge assessments and reviews, analytical reports, and budget parameters ensuring accurate and compliant handling and storage
  • Creates and implements quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and coaching to staff to achieve a positive impact on the education and development of clinical staff
  • Coordinates with staying up-to-date with industry trends, promoting evidence-based practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the organization's goals and key deliverables are met
  • Identifies opportunities to design complex and strategic behavioral healthcare improvement initiatives for clinical staff to ensure training program effectiveness and consistency
