Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of responsible employment experience
  • Experience in Human Services or a related field is preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company-owned vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residency with an acceptable driving record
  • Current auto insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients/patients, families, and colleagues
  • Basic keyboarding skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
  • Physical ability for sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount frequently; repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and supportive care to clients/patients, promoting their recovery and well-being
  • Monitor and document client/patient behavior, vital signs, and medical symptoms
  • Assist clients/patients with daily activities, such as personal care, medication administration, and transportation
  • Facilitate group education/structured activities, promoting social interaction and skill-building
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide crisis intervention and support, as needed
